Bybit Will Support the Aerodrome (AERO) Token Migration

Bybit will support the token migration and smart contract upgrade for Aerodrome (AERO) and Velodrome Finance into Aero (AERO).

Key updates & timeline

1. Spot Trading

  • Trading on existing AERO spot trading pairs (AERO/USDT) will not be affected throughout the migration process.

2. Deposits and Withdrawals

  • Suspension: At 2026-11-03 08:00 AM UTC, deposits and withdrawals of legacy AERO tokens will be suspended. Ensure sufficient time for your AERO deposits to be processed prior to this time.

  • Resumption: Deposits and withdrawals of the new AERO tokens are estimated to resume at 2026-11-06 08:00 AM UTC. Note: This timeline is subject to network stability and verification, and may be delayed accordingly.

3. Futures

  • VELODROMEUSDT Perpetual Contract will be delisted at Oct 27, 2026, 9:00 AM UTC.

Note the following:

  • The VELODROMEUSDT Perpetual Contract will be delisted and trading will no longer be supported.

  • All active orders and conditional orders for the VELODROMEUSDT Perpetual Contract will be automatically canceled.

  • Any open positions in the VELODROMEUSDT Perpetual Contract will be automatically closed. The closing price will be based on the average index price in the 30 minutes prior to the delisting.

  • The VELODROMEUSDT Perpetual Contract will be delisted and no longer supported on Trading Bots.

  • All unfilled orders for the VELODROMEUSDT Perpetual Contract in Copy Trading will be automatically canceled.

4. Token Swap & Migration

Old AERO tokens will be swapped for the new AERO tokens at a fixed ratio of 1 Old AERO = 1 New AERO

  • Old AERO contract address (Base): 0x940181a94A35A4569E4529A3CDfB74e38FD98631

  • New AERO contract address (Base): 0x3f5bF3EdAc59d650D8fDf9657a71F2f904A3a4Ee

5. Distinction Regarding Velo Protocol (VELO)

  • Note that Velo Protocol (VELO) listed on Bybit is unrelated to this migration. All Spot trading, Perpetual Contracts, and Earn products for Velo Protocol (VELO) will operate normally without any interruption.
